TCA Junior High and High School

Students receive instruction that is tailored to their strengths, needs, interests, and goals. Academic instruction focuses on reading, writing, math, science, and social studies while helping students make progress toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Instruction combines teacher-led learning, individualized support, and technology-enhanced learning experiences that allow students to work at an appropriate pace while continuing to be challenged and engaged.

Mental health and wellness are important parts of student success. Students have access to individual counseling, group counseling, and therapeutic supports that help them build positive coping skills, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges.

Counseling services focus on helping students:

TCA uses a structured, positive approach to supporting student success. Staff work closely with students to recognize strengths, celebrate growth, develop self-management skills, and create a safe and respectful learning environment.

Students have opportunities to explore future careers and interests while developing workplace and life skills.

Depending on age, interests, and individual goals, students may participate in:

• Career and technical education opportunities

These experiences help students connect learning to future goals and prepare for life after high school.

Students participate in physical education, wellness activities, school events, and opportunities to build positive connections with peers and staff. These experiences help create a welcoming school community where students feel supported and valued.

Families are an important part of every student's educational journey. Staff work closely with parents, caregivers, school districts, and community partners to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
