Aston Education Center

Students receive instruction that is tailored to their strengths, needs, interests, and goals. Academic instruction focuses on reading, writing, math, science, and social studies while helping students make progress toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Smaller class sizes and individualized support allow students to build confidence, experience success, and develop the skills needed for learning both inside and outside the classroom.

In addition to academic instruction, all students participate in:

• Physical Education and Health

These experiences provide opportunities for creativity, movement, self-expression, teamwork, and personal growth.

Aston Education Center provides a range of counseling and mental health supports designed to help students develop positive coping skills, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges successfully.

Students may participate in:

• Individual counseling
• Small-group counseling
• Social skills instruction
• Problem-solving skill development
• Mental health supports and services

Services are provided in partnership with students, families, and educational teams to support each student's overall success.

Our programs use positive, proactive approaches to help students build self-awareness, self-regulation, communication, and decision-making skills. Staff work closely with students to recognize strengths, celebrate progress, and create supportive learning environments where every student can thrive.

Students have opportunities to build connections with peers and staff through classroom activities, school-wide events, celebrations, and collaborative learning experiences. A strong sense of belonging and community is an important part of the Aston Education Center experience.

Families play an important role in student success. Our staff work closely with parents, caregivers, school districts, and community partners to create a supportive educational experience for every student.
