ADHD in Adolescents

Middle School student with a book Adolescence is a time of changing preferences, abilities, and demands. In this session, participants will explore the changing needs and challenges facing students with ADHD as they enter their middle and high school years. We will examine specific academic and social expectations in the school setting and the need for developing independence. An emphasis will be spent on the development and strengthening of executive functioning skills and strategies beneficial to helping students succeed.
