Hackathon

Hacking?! Hold up! No, we're not "hacking" servers or databases. The word is being constructively re-defined as building things - apps, games, websites, etc. The PA SEED Hackathon is all safe, supervised, and entirely educational.

At the 2019-2020 Hackathon event, students will be confronted with a real world problem that requires collaboration and innovation to develop creative solutions. In an effort to address global challenges and achieve a better future, the Hackathon problem is based on the United Nations Global Goals.

The competition will include students from school districts in Delaware, Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery counties. It is being hosted by the PA SEED STEM Ecosystem.

Date: Tuesday, January 7, 2020

Participants: Open to teams of up to five high school students

Location: DCIU Morton, 200 Yale Ave, Morton, PA 19070

Registration: Hackathon Interest Form
