The 24 Challenge is a tournament-style competition organized around the 24 Game. Millions of students in more than 20 countries have participated since 1988. The competition will be entering its sixth year at DCIU in 2020.
Over a period of months preceding the event, teachers use the 24 Game in their classrooms to help students hone their mathematics skills. Then - using the official rules made available through DCIU - schools or districts hold local or district-wide playoffs to determine which students will advance to our Championship Event!
The 24 Challenge Math Tournament is for students in grades 4-8.
There will be three different grade band competitions: Grades 4-5, Grade 6, and Grades 7-8.
May 28, 2020: Grades 4-5
May 29, 2020: Grade 6 and Grades 7-8
