Delaware County School Boards Legislative Council

Serving the School Boards and School Districts of Delaware County

The Delaware County School Boards Legislative Council is comprised of one annually appointed school board member from each of the 15 public school districts in Delaware County.  The Council provides a county wide forum for review, analysis, and advocacy on state and federal legislation affecting public education in Delaware County and across the Commonwealth. Representing the interests of our 135 elected school board members, over 74,000 Delaware County public school students and their families, in addition to our taxpayers, the Council promotes a frank, open and ongoing dialogue with our state and federal elected officials. Resources for the Council are provided through the Intermediate Unit.
