Welcome to Delaware County Intermediate Unit
The Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) is a regional education services agency. It is our mission to provide leadership for the development of innovative and cost-effective programs to meet the needs of our county.
DCIU serves more than 69,000 school-aged students and more than 6,000 educators on a regional basis. Direct instruction is provided to more than 15,000 students enrolled in DCIU’s Special Programs, Career and Technical Education and specialized programs.

DCIU Head Start works to ensure all children and families grow and develop according to their abilities. Over 1,000 children and families receive free early childhood education through Federal and State Grants in 7 locations in Delaware County:
