Speech and Language

DCIU provides comprehensive speech and language services for students ages 3-21 across a variety of educational settings, including DCIU programs, non-public schools, charter schools, and early intervention programs.  

Following a speech and language evaluation to assess the student's needs, a Speech-Language Pathologist will deliver individualized therapy services to support the identified needs in the areas of: 

  • Articulation

  • Fluency

  • Voice

  • Receptive and Expressive Language

  • Pragmatic Language

  • Executive Function   

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) 

  • Feeding
