📝 Eligibility
Students in grades 9-11 from Delaware County school districts may apply. DCTS programs begin in 10th grade.
To gain admission to a technical program, applicants must meet DCTS admission criteria for grades, attendance, discipline, and career readiness.
🌐 Application Process
- Complete the online application with a parent or guardian. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year open on December 15, 2025.
- If internet access is limited, applications can be completed with help from your high school counselor.
2026-2027 DCTS Application
- Write the required essays. These essays are your chance to explain why you want to join a technical program and why you would be a strong applicant for the program you would like to enter. Be thoughtful and specific. Admissions teams want to see your interest, commitment, and motivation for the program you've chosen.
- High schools submit required documents, including transcripts, attendance and discipline records, and (if applicable) IEP or 504 plans.
🗓️ Deadline for Priority Consideration
Apply by February 28, 2026 for priority consideration. Applications submitted later are reviewed if space is available.
⚕️ Important for Medical Careers Applicants
Students applying to the 12th grade Medical Careers Program must also complete a supplemental application and may be required to participate in an interview. The supplemental application is submitted through your high school counselor.
