Summer 2026 at DCIU is packed with exciting camps where innovators and explorers can dive into hands-on camps focused on STEM, STEAM, and literacy. Designed to spark discovery and build real-world knowledge, our camps empower students to think big, create boldly, and prepare for the future.

DCTS Summer Camp

Build it. Cook it. Design it. Try it all!

DCTS Summer Camp is designed to provide students in grades 6-8 opportunities to learn about STEAM through active, project-based learning in multiple Career and Technical program areas.

Campers will create STEAM based projects, which will produce a tangible result to keep at the end of each camp day. Campers will rotate through programs listed for each campus during the week.

Campers can participate in one week or both weeks of camp.

Camp Details: July 6-9, 2026 and July 13-16, 2026| DCTS Aston Campus | 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Cost: $125 registration fee per week. Includes a camp shirt.

Campers should bring their lunches; snacks will be provided.

Future City Robotics Camp

Get ready for an unforgettable 4 day adventure!

Perfect For: Students in grades 4-6

Camp Details: July 13-16 | DCIU Morton Campus | 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Students in grades 4-6 will build their own model city using recyclable materials and then bring it to life with real robots and drones! Campers will learn to code and drive robots as well as fly drones carrying out real world scenarios and situations. Along the way, students will work in teams, solve real-world challenges, and think like true engineers and innovators!

Cost: $250 per camper

Literacy Camp

DCIU's Summer Literacy Camp will support students ending below grade level in reading scores whose families seek intensive support to move toward grade-level readiness for fall. The camp targets foundational skills in a small-group, intensive literacy program.

Led by skilled reading interventionists, campers will learn key decoding, transcription, and fluency skills to prepare them for the fall. With built-in breaks, engaging activities, and interactive games to build receptive and expressive language skills, we help families prevent the typical "summer slide" of reading skills.

The student to teacher ratio will remain under 6:1, so enrollment is limited.

Camp Details

Age Group: Students entering 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade in public or nonpublic schools
Date & Time: Monday through Friday, July 13-24, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:!5 p.m.
- Families must commit to full attendance for two weeks.
Location: Marple Education Center, 85 N. Malin Road, Broomall, PA 19008
Cost: $500 per week, two week commitment
Students should bring their own packed lunch and snacks

STEAM Camp

Camp Details: August 3-6, 2026 | DCIU Morton Campus | 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Our 4-day camp invites incoming 3rd-5th graders to dive into hands-on science and engineering challenges while using the natural world as their inspiration. Come ready to expand your creativity and deepen your curiosity!

Join us as we discover the wonders of nature and leave with a deeper appreciation for art, the environment, and the exciting world of STEAM!

Cost: $250 per camper

English Learner Summer Camp

The DCIU English Learner (EL) Summer Camp is available annually through Title III Consortium Federal Grant funds. This camp serves the districts and schools that are members of the DCIU Title III Consortium, currently:

Vision Academy Charter School of Excellence

EL Summer Camp is a half-day camp that meets Mondays through Thursdays for three weeks in July. Current Kindergarteners-12th grade students who are designated as English Learners in the participating districts can attend. All Summer Camp Teachers hold ESL certifications. The camp is free for the English Learners in the listed participating school districts.

There are two locations for the camp, an elementary location for K-4th grade students and a secondary location for 5th-12th grade students.
