Supporting teen parents as they work toward graduation and beyond.Project ELECT helps pregnant and parenting students up to age 22 stay in school, graduate, and prepare for a successful future. The program is available year-round and includes:

• One-on-one support
• Parenting, child development, and life skills education
• Help with child care and transportation
• Health, nutrition, and pregnancy support
• Academic support, tutoring, and school re-engagement
• Career and college readiness
• Field trips, workshops, and peer groups

Supporting parents as their child's first and most important teacher.Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a free home-visiting program for families with children from birth to age 5. A trained parent educator works with your family to support your child's physical, emotional, social, and language development. Visits include activities, developmental milestones, and parenting tips. The program helps you build strong connections with your child and prepare them for school success.

Learning and playing together through connection and fun. 

This interactive play group helps preschool-aged children build social skills while exploring and learning through play. Caregivers also have the opportunity to meet and connect with other families. Teeter Totter meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 10am-11am. Join in on reading books, singing songs, and family activities!

Practical tips, tools, and encouragement for everyday parenting.

Our parenting workshops cover common parenting challenges and helpful strategies. Topics include child development, safety, routines, nutrition, behavior, stress, shared parenting, and more. Classes are led by experienced educators and provide a welcoming space for learning and sharing with others.

Keeping your child safe on the road.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians provide free car seat safety checks to ensure your car seat is properly installed. Appointments take place in the parking lot of our Darby office.

(We do not provide car seats, but we can help connect you to programs that do.)

Families can borrow books, toys, games, and videos from our lending library to enjoy at home. Materials are available for a two-week period and are selected to support learning and quality family time.
