DCIU offers a range of training opportunities from introductory overviews to in-depth training and technical assistance in support of ongoing school improvement and meeting the needs of all students. The Department of Teaching & Learning provides services via workshops at DCIU, on-site in school districts, or online to assist in meeting the educational needs of all students. Trainings and technical assistance can be tailored to meet the needs of the school district.

Job-alike Meetings and Professional Learning Communities
Teaching & Learning's job-alike meetings, professional learning communities, and curriculum councils provide a meaningful way for educators to network and receive information relevant to specialized content area and/or roles.

Special Education Training and Consultation
The Teaching & Learning Training and Consultation (TaC) team provides special education training and consultation services which are federally funded through the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) and are available to all public school entities.
