DCIU Aston Campus, Education Center
The DCIU Aston Campus Education Center serves students in grades K-12 with emotional and behavioral needs.
The New Pathways Program is a school-based mental health program for students from Kindergarten through sixth grade with a range of disabilities from autism to emotional disabilities. The Community School works hand-in-hand with the New Pathways Program and provides full-time special education to students between first and eighth grade who have severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. Delaware County Academy offers instruction for secondary level students who need a smaller setting to meet requirements for graduation. DCA accepts students with or without IEPs. Forward Bound is an intensive secondary emotional support class developed to meet the needs of a distinct population of students diagnosed with a serious mental illness who have been unsuccessful in previous school placements due to a history of mental health treatment resulting in repeated breaks in their educational programming.
