Endorsement Programs: Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I have to apply? What if the course starts soon?
Please email us if you have any questions about the application process. We take applications and review them on a first come first serve basis, and will be taking applications up until the course begins, so get yours in as soon as you can to reserve a seat! Normally, our applications would only be handled by mail.
What if I can't get all my application materials together in time?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org explaining your situation.
Can I get Act 48 hours from these courses? Is there a charge for them?
Act 48 hours are available! We will upload them for you, there is no charge associated with them
Can I get graduate credit? Do I have to?
Graduate credit is available, and it is NOT mandatory.
How long do the courses run?
I've never taken a course online. Can I still take either course? Do I need any technical knowledge?
Thats okay! Our learning management system, Canvas, is one of the easiest and most intuitive LMS out today. Even if you've never taken an online course, or don't have a very technical background, you'll be up and running in no time. DCIU and course instructors, as well as Canvas itself, will always be standing by to assist you should you run into any problems.
When do I register and pay for the course?
As soon as we receive your application, we'll review it and send you a link to register for the course. Before the course begins, you'll be sent all the information you need to access it on our Learning Management System, Canvas. More info on Canvas is available on their website
How much does each course cost?
$600 dollars without graduate credit from Immaculata (up to 7 days prior to course start), and $1500 if you would like to get graduate credit through Immaculata.
Can you explain more about the graduate credit from Immaculata University?
Through our agreement with Immaculata University, we can provide graduate credit. This is standard graduate credit, through the university, and can even be applied to Masters programs at Immaculata.
If I take Immaculata University credit with my course, how does it fit into existing programs at the school?
Can I transfer my credits into my existing program at a different University?
Check with your school! If they would take Immaculata University courses, these are one in the same, and would transfer.
