March Parent Workshops

 

DE County Advisory Council  The Delaware County Intermediate Unit is offering the following free workshop to help parents better navigate the often challenging roadmap of educating their children with disabilities or learning challenges.
 

My Child Has ADHD, Now What?

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder described as a “persistent” or on-going pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity – impulsivity that gets in the way of daily life or typical development. This parent workshop will focus on analyzing deficits and gifts of ADHD, as well as providing parents with practical strategies to implement across all environments with their children.
 
Target Audience: Parents of newly diagnosed children and parents that want to have a better understanding ADHD.
