Crisis Prevention and Intervention Resources:

Delaware County has a mobile crisis team to assist in times of need. Attached is the brochure for the Delaware County Crisis Connections Team

Holcomb also has a large Drug and Alcohol Prevention Unit located in

The County has two Psychiatric Crisis Centers that provide crisis intervention, 24 Hour telephone and walk-in services, as well as Psychiatric Emergency Commitment Procedures. Crozer Chester Medical Center services the communities located in the South & Western part of the County and Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital services the North and Eastern parts of Delaware County.

Lastly, the County's DCORT service provides Individual and Community Behavioral Health support and referral following times of emergencies and/or disasters. This mobile team is deployed at the command of the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Coordinator for the County when a long term community counseling need is identified.
